Born in France in 1980, Roman releases his first album in 2009. Any Place But Home vividly transcribes his life experience which is heavily inspired by his family and early-age expatriation.
By 2007, Roman had performed over 500 shows alongside a sucessful career in multinational corporations. In front of the growing expectations and appreciation of his audience Roman decides to dedicate himself to his passion. He subsequently produces Any Place But Home and a music video for his cover of The House of the Rising Sun. Artists in a Bottle Records was founded to house the works of Roman and co-producer Alexander Maxwell. Later releases include those of Maxwell & Tores, Geezer Young, and Mr. Day and the Nights to name a few.
A string of shows in Brussels landmark venues follow the album release: the BOZAR, the Orangerie du Botanique, the Ancienne Belgique
2009 marks his arrival on the Belgian media scene with the singles Rider and Good Music in heavy rotation on a large number of radio stations. A good number of appearences in both France and Belgium will follow: Taratata, the premiere of D6Bels on the RTBF, the Octaves de la Musique (French-Belgian Grammy's), RTL's Télévie Rally and various landmark shows on BelRTL and Classic21. Roman also performed as support act for Arno, Johnny Winter (x2), Machiavel (x2), Bjorn Berge (x2), Ten Years After, and BJ Scott during this 2008 to 2010 period.
In May, 2010, Roman releases DAY OFF, the 1st single from his second album. It is well recieved and broadcasted regularly throughout the summer. In August, as he was recording the final tracks of his 2nd album, Roman is hospitalized and undergoes surgical procedures hindering his ability to sing. The second album was not subsequently released and Roman retired from artist life.
